Working with a firm or client in one place

A firm and the company it serves can share one live matter — no email threads, no exports. Here's how to invite the other side, and how both-sides approval keeps everyone in control.

Before you start

Either side can invite the other, but it only goes live once an admin on both sides approves. You'll need admin rights on your side, and the other party must already have a Jurex workspace.

Inviting the other side

  1. Open the matter (firm side) or contract (company side) you want to share.
  2. Choose Invite — a firm invites a client; a company invites a firm.
  3. Set the access level: pick exactly which tabs the other side may see. Status and tasks flow automatically; documents stay private until shared.
  4. Send the invitation. It moves to Pending approval.

On the firm side, accepting an inbound invitation also runs the conflict check — clearance is built into the approval, not a separate step.

Both-sides approval

The invitation stays pending until an admin on each side approves it. Any team member can invite; only admins can approve. Once both have approved, the matter is shared and the work happens in one place.

Controlling what you share

Access is configurable and can be changed any time. Documents are always per-file: nothing is shared until you explicitly share it, and every share is recorded in the audit trail.
